Julian Q. Moffett, President CEO
Mr. Moffett is president and chief executive
officer of Moffett Paving & Excavating Corp., a company he has owned since 1981. He is a lifelong resident of Staunton
and Augusta County, where he presently lives on and operates a family farm. Prior to acquiring his company, Mr. Moffett was
employed by the City of Staunton for 10 years, serving as director of management services, director of public works, assistant
city manager, and acting city manager. He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and past president
of the local chapter. Presently, Mr. Moffett is chairman of his church’s building program, serves as elder and trustee
chairman, and is past chairman of the Board of Deacons. Additional community service has included being a member and past
president of the Staunton Rotary Club and serving on the local Boy Scout Council. Mr. Moffett is a veteran of the United States
Army, holds a professional engineering license, and received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Virginia
Tech.
